Gomoku is a Japanese strategy board game in which you have to form a line of five pieces of the same color (white or black). It is also known as "Go Bang" or "omok". It is very similar to the Chinese game of Go in that it is played with the same tiles and the same board but it changes its rules. Players take turns placing the stones at empty intersections. The first player to achieve a chain of five stones of the same color is the winner!
